The Tidal Bore Wave coming upriver at Moncton, New Brunswick.      You can hear the wave as it gets close but it justs so happens as the wave gets closer a parade of 18 wheeler tractors go by blowing their horns.    Three hours after the wave goes by the river is filled to the just below the top of the river bank, than the water starts to recede slowly.    The wave travels at 12 knots per hour which is faster than a human can run for any lenght of time.   It will take 9 hours for the water to recede to the rivers normal level.
